if i had a white svx, i'd paint the roof white ,too. I think a white svx would look nice. Especially with some nice wheels and tinted windows.

I think that the SVX looks best in the black over pearl or black over barcelona red. I also think the gunmetal-silver would look sweet.
Either my current SVX or the next will end up black over red. |

The best looking ones I've seen have been the black over pearl. (it's what I've got but unlike the other colors, it costs a lot more to repaint. It takes 3 coats of paint plus the clear coat to get that irridescent ? shine to it (the opposite of metallic since this is where the light reflects back in the direction it came from).
What I think would look absolutely cool is a black over yellow. Might want to photochop that and see how it looks. |

When I sat down with the insurance adjuster after my Red was hit the other week, I asked him what color car is in the most accidents? Nope, red is not the answer.......Silver won hands down.
He thought it might be due to the reflection of the sun on silver vehicles. But red did finish second. So, no red or silver for me.

I do a LOT of junk yarding for SVX parts, and by far, Liquid Silver beats all others 3 to 1 or more. The second most popular wrecked SVX is laguna blue.

The headlights look a tad different. They must be glass instead of plastic.

Mike please tell me you decided against two-tone painting your SVX. You have the same headlight washers? Difficult to put in? I could be interested in that, too. Good call on the yellow and black Alan. -Aaron
