What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

Put on my new lug nuts after cleaning the threads with a die.
Now I don't have rusty stock lugnuts that stick out like a sore thumb against my wheels

I got it from my friend Jamie @ SubaruGenuineParts.com (Chaplins Subaru). Part number is M0010PS100 @ about $135 for the full cover (hood/bumper). You used to be able to get the hood cover only (M0010PS110) but they were discontinued. You may be able to find one sitting on a dealership shelf still though.

I've never seen it before but here's the spots I can't get rid of-



The cleanish spot on the edge of the hood represents about 10 minutes of work with rubbing compound, and it covers most of the LF fender. Front end cover doesn't cover it, but I'll find a fender in better shape somewhere.

Pulled the motor out of a Forester, and pulled the heads to have milled...this was after working all day, and mowing the grass.....I need a day off......

Drove mine to Ithaca to go to the Ron Paul rally with the eldest son. Subarus are popular in granolaville so it turned a few heads.

Nice sign! I don't have a "Dog in the race" yet, but I feel that Mr Paul is an honest man that deeply cares about American. In a country where that is currently nonexistent, that is certainly a breath of fresh air.

I picked up a bit and caught a SVX with the picture to make it fit with the "What have you done to your SVX today"
