"Check Engine" Light

Hi,
Every know and then, when i turn my car on, my "check engine" light in the dash comes on, and stays on for around 1 or 2 minutes. I tried to look it up, and found that it probably is something electrical. But wouldnt have a clue what.

The car seems to be running perfect, nothing else seems to be wrong.

Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
