92 Ebony in Maine...
Price reduced!
1992 Ebony. 187k mostly highway miles, very well taken care of. I really do not want to sell this car, but unfortunately I need the money! The car is in great shape, the engine is incredible. Regular oil changes even though the oil stays completely clean all the time. All of you here already know how good these engines are... In the summer gets 24-26mpg, less in the winter. I guess the mpg's aren't bad for a car with this much "go". Unfortunately I drive a lot and get 45-50mpg with my 87 CRX-HF. Of course the SVX is MUCH faster and more fun! Two sets of wheels/tires. The wheels on now (blizzaks) that are good for another season. The stock wheelset (not in the pics) have Dunlop Wintersport M3's that are a bit worn but probably good for one more summer (they are ok for highway, but rather squirmy for cornering). So next year you may want a new set of summer or all-seasons. The bike rack is specially ordered from Australia, as a good one for the SVX is not available in the U.S. It cost a lot, I forgot how much but over $400 I've spent a lot this car. Here is a partial list of things I've done (or had done), listed in reverse chronological order: New brake rotors & pads, 12-09 Replaced starter, 07-09 New PWR radiator, timing belt, idlers, PS pump O-ring, water pump, valve cover gaskets, 06-09 Stabilizer bar links, 04-09 New (both) rear wheel bearings & seals, early 09 New O2 sensors (2), & knock sensors (2), early 09 New TCU, which fixed slow awd engagement, 04-08 Transmission oil flush, 05-08 New windshield, 06-07 Replaced front differential, 03-07 New power steering rack, 2005 I bought the car at 115k miles, it had a warrantied tranny replacement at 90k. Shifting is strong, once in a while when rolling along slowly it will slightly delay the shift from 2nd to 3rd (or is it from 1st to 2nd?) allowing the engine to rev slightly. If accelerating this DOES NOT happen, only when going slow. It has done this ever since I got it. When accelerating normally or in "Power" mode, the shifting is always perfectly fine. Sheesh...now that I add all this up I can't believe I'm going to sell it...:-( Other extra stuff I have for the car: Touch-up paint Spare new CV boots Front wheel bearing & seals Transmission oil cooler (never installed) Transmission fluid temp gauge (never installed) The rear wing...I took it off for better rear visibility and less weight. I think it looks better without it anyway. Spare AC compressor More stuff that I've forgotten. Looking for $2500. PM me, or call 207-443-3743 (price reduced, bike rack not included) Thanks for looking, Bruce
