Gauging Interest: 1992 LS-L Silver
State SVX is in: Utah
Year: 1992 Model: LS-L Color: Liquid Silver, Original Paint Miles: 121,2XX Location: Salt Lake City Options: All LS-L options. 2 keyless remotes. Factory cup holder. Modifications: none Major service: Recent reman water pump and good used timing belt (40k) Maintenance Records: Most major records since 1992 from original owner. Transmission condition: Shifts through all gears: Takes approx. 2 seconds to engage in "D" or "R": 1-2 shift is a little harsh. Very driveable. Glass condition: good, no cracks Type of tire and remaining tread: Michelin Pilot Alpin 225/50R16 on all 4. 2/3 tread remaining. Even wear. Interior condition: Very good: typical wear on driver's seat bolster. Visors do not sag. Original mats in good condition. Non-smoker car. Body condition: Very good: a few small scratches and door dings. Paint is glossy, no clearcoat peel, rear spoiler has a few 1" chips Known defects or problems: Transmission issue as described: Previous owner was driving it regularly until timing belt broke. Needs valve cover gaskets changed. No other issues noted. Comments about the car: I bought from the original, adult, owner in February with a shredded timing belt due to a seized water pump and transmission issues. I put a reman water pump and a slightly used timing belt on (bought from a member here) so I could evaluate the overall condition of the car and the tranny issue. It's a very clean, original car that runs well and looks good. I think it would be a great candidate for a 5-speed swap that could be driven right now. I'm willing to throw in a 5-speed tranny from a '96 Legacy with 133k that needs the rear diff replaced (easy work) to the buyer. I'm not desperate to sell, but I bought a new house and could probably be convinced to let it go. Sorry, it's too nice to part out. Asking price: $1800 or offer. Pictures: Sorry, they're not the greatest. Last edited by davew833; 07-26-2007 at 10:22 AM. |
