What is involved in swapping to a 4.44

Hi guys, I have one more question about swapping to a 4.44 EAT... What exactly is involved in the process?

I was told that something needs to be cut so that it fits in but other than that you just have to change the rear diff and everything else should fit.

Is there an article outlining the process that I can be referred to? I'm looking to have someone from the network come to my area to do the job but if that doesn't happen I will need to explain this process to a regular mechanic willing to do the job. I'd appreciate any help here. Thanks.
