Going to look at a 92, read almost all the probs, but need more specific answers. Did Subaru have a recall to put on the aux. trans cooler? And being somewhat of an engineer, it shouldn't be hard to verify whether or not it has one... what i mean is, can i see the hose routings under the vehicle if it's not in the radiatior area? Also, i've never experienced a bad rear wheel bearing, is it generally the same as a bad front bearing, or does it always "moan". Are there any specific tell-tale signs if the trans is going other then the obvious? What's the stall speed on these? Other then the "3 major problems", what else would you consider looking for.
