Nice try.

HERE is my (NOT A ZR-1) quote:

A 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera is now worth $16,900, a 1988 Corvette is now worth $10,060 (both cars with 50k). Considering the Porsche sold for...what...double what the Vette did originally? (Don't know the original price of the 911 but the vette should have been around 30k), looks like the Vette holds value just as well as the porsche. Go ahead and look it up yourself. Those were both Blue Book values.
Nuff said there.

i guess that's plenty to show they are NOWHERE CLOSE TO $100k.
I never said they all were worth 100k. Damn.

Let me note that with an original selling price of $57k, today's average selling price of $30k for this nearly 15 year old car means less than 50% depreciation in that time. Of course it is a pretty rare car, but that's still good...look at any used Ferrari and you'll realize how good.

And those cars sold for what? $80k? A C5 targa is just under $50k new.
