False Alarm with System

Many of you know that I had work done to my transmission by a local shop. When it was in their shop, I got a call from one of the Techs asking if I would sell my NOS system, and I said NO! They pleaded over and over that they wanted to buy it and I was not using it. I told them it didn't matter, and I would not sell it. I found out later that they had started to disconnect it and had it part way out of the car before they found out that I wasn't going to sell it. They had disconnected electrical wires and fuel lines and did not hook up the system the way it was before they messed with it. Well, the security system, locks and some of my other electrical systems didn't work after I got the car back. (and No, the owner would not fix it and denied that his workers would have done such a thing.)

time passes

I took my son bowling for his birthday, and after we were done, I got into the car the alarm went off. I thought, no problem, I will just start it and that will take care of it. Yea, right! I have done this before, but this time it would not turn off. I tried everything, and finally disconnected the battery. That did it, but when I put the wires back on - yep, it started again. I fianlly just got into the car, and drove home with the siren going through all of the variations of honks, shreeks, zip zaps, etc. It is not a stock alarm and I am going to take it into the shop on Wednesday to get it fixed. I just hope I can find the reset button and get it stopped so I don't have to go back into town with the alarm going off.

Just had to get that off of my chest and I do feel a little better. Thanks
