Time of year for an AC question

OK... When I start up the AC the out put vent temp reads 20 deg F
I think that's too low...
But then after about 10 min of driving it rises to about 38 deg F.

If I'm stopped at a light for a couple of minutes then sometimes the output vent temp jumps up to about 60 deg F. and then once I'm moving in traffic again drops down to 40-35 deg F.

the 35-38 temp is about where it should be. I'm worried about the low and the high end... 20 deg to 60 deg is a pretty big jump. This happend today with the outside temp at 94- 101 deg F. But has also happened with lower outside temps down to about 80 deg f.

Anything wrong or am I just paranoid?
