Transmission Removal
Help...
Does anyone have a “How to” on a transmission removal? I’m going to try and tackle it this weekend. It’s a ’94 L (FWD). I crawled under her today and it looks like the first thing to remove is the exhaust… Where do I go from there? Can I remove the transmission without removing the differential? Thanks, Bill |

I can almost help
![]() see this thread: http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...t=transmission for a FWD model you just don't have the driveshaft issue. I have no idea how, or if it's a good idea, to separate the diff from the tranny in car. |

The trans and diff will come out as one piece.
Looking at the book, I'm not sure if it is even possible to remove one from the other while it is in the car.
