How about an electric SVX??

With no engine in my '92 but otherwise in really good shape, someone suggested I convert it to electric. Anyone ever done this or even looked into what is involved? How crazy is this??

Re: How about an electric SVX??

Pretty crazy. You could buy 10-20 used SVX engines for the same cost of converting to electric.

Re: How about an electric SVX??

True...but it would be a really cool electric car, has a very low CD which should help a little with range.....

I've seen electric conversions being done on much more massive vehicles

See what I did there?

Re: How about an electric SVX??

Not to mention a lot of the mass of a SVX is the EG33 & 4EAT which would both be gone in an electric conversion...
