Anyone done a Link ECU?
Did some searching around, but "Link" is a hard thing to search for without getting every other post out there.
Putting an EG33 in a BD Legacy. Have a donor car for the stock harness....but stock is boring . Also have a Link LEM G3 ECU on the shelf from another project that barely got off the ground. Running 87 octane would be nice for the time being, as it might be a DD for awhile. But adding some boooost eventually would be quite likely. Don't see any reason why it wouldn't be able to read the EG33 Crank/Cam sensors. The LEM will require some sort of wasted spark ignition and batch-fire injection setup (I don't remember how many ignition and injection drives it has, so I'm not 100% sure exactly how we'll do that), but that's not too complex. Might have to grab an igniter off something else.... Anyway, wondering if anyone has any more info. Or maybe even a base map.... otherwise, if this project gets off the ground, we'll do some documenting. |

Re: Anyone done a Link ECU?
As far as I know people have used megasquirt and Hydra, as well as chipped the stock ECU but no support for link as far as I know. Good luck! Tomsvx should have the scope info etc. from the oem SVX that would help you build base maps.
