gas prices drop thread
The gas prices have been dropping down a lot from the past few days...last week. In this town, it seems that the gas stations keep dropping down their prices to compete with each other.
The cheapest regular 87 is now at 2.41/gallon at exxon and the premium 93 is at 2.61/gallon. I can't complain much now...at this price and every fill-up, I'm saving like $6 to $ 8 each time...that's like saving $60 to $80 per month compared to last two week. I'm kind of sure the sheetz will probably drop their gas prices lower than Exxon soon.

Gas is 2.90 and up here.
In Detroit Sunday I spotted a station at 2.25 for regular.

$2.64 for Shell 93 down here, cheaper across the county line because we are a university town.

$2.529 for Marathon premium this morning; cheapest in town. I saw regular for two-twenty-something in rural Tennnessee Sunday.
Thank the mid-term elections. dcb |
