Some goodies came in today

Got some goodies back from a couple projects of ours...

TB adapter, fuel stacks, and small bits are for my supercharger system. They destroyed my intake manifold in the process due to some employees who have now been "let go". This is good motivation to make a better manifold that will not be hindered by hood space restrictions and actually flow well.

The oil pan, and valve covers are some pieces of Mike's engine rebuild. We will be getting the wrinkle black cylinder heads and block halves back from them next weekend along with a gold intake manifold next weekend.

Strut bodies are for Laserx's coilovers.

Enjoy

Tom

Local powdercoat company? How in the world did they wreck your intake?

Wow. That's impressive work, but not worth the hassle from what Mike told me! Good luck with the intake manifold.

Re: Some goodies came in today

The shop's "fabricator" who was let go as a result of his mucking up my manifold w/o asking me. He called me an said he layed a couple welds on it. I took a look at it and they are trashed. I could probably save it, but with enough work to make 1/2 of another manifold. So I am looking to make a new manifold out of 12ga. stainless

Are they reimbursing you for a new intake manifold?

Re: Some goodies came in today

yes in a sense. I am going to make them give us the coatings for no cost. Which saves us about $400 considering all the costs of what the manifold will cost me in materials
