hoodscoop option
had a pretty decent looking hoodscoop on hand and
just set it on my 92 today... its not bolted on obviously, but didnt look half bad on the car. Sorta a 69 camaro style cowl style. Although it could also be made functional and directing air from the hi pressure cowl area under the hood for cooling or ? I only have one scoop, but could make a mold of it and start making them if there was enough interest

Re: hoodscoop option
I have been thinking about this, however I am finding it difficult to figure where to direct the ducting as the air intake comes from the fender better then the cowl could.

Re: hoodscoop option
I am not a real big fan of hoodscoops for our beautiful cars. Particularly those that are non-functional. However, I do understand that some people have different tastes.
I guess the only functional scoop that I ever even thought would look decent on this car would be one similar to the 1985 Mustang SVO. Slightly off center, it might be made to work on the SVX. I think the main concern would be given our hood profile---would it intake enough air? Lee

Re: hoodscoop option
Ive had a few Svo mustangs and still have one in the
garage as we speak Not sure how easy if at all possible to graph that scoop set up into the Svx. I do have some howweve 87-88 Turbo Coupe thunderbird scoops on hand used I was thinking about trying to install in one of my cars one day too given the time.
