.. ever sell my '92 SVX (Ebony Mica), but I'm actually considering it.

123,000 or so miles on the clock, virtually pristine, everything works well except gas gauge (I use odometer to keep track). ECU and TCU from ECUtune, '05 STi silver wheels, new-ish rubber, original wheels as well with good rubber. All hoses and rubber in excellent condition, new paint job 18 months ago, always garaged inside and I live in vancouver, BC where there is never any salt on the roads.

I've owned it for almost 16 years, babied. many of the usual parts are reasonably new, driven less that 6,000 miles per year for the last 6 or 7 years.

I have a minimum price in mind below which I will not part with it. And, still haven't decided whether I will sell or not, but just starting to "check around". Obviously if I sell I want it to go to a good home where the next owner will appreciate what an excellent car this is.

Sounds like a nice car.

I have the opposite problem. I bought an SVX to satisfy my curiousity, after which I planned to sell it. Problem is, it took me 2 years to get it on the road. And now that it's on the road, all I want to do is drive it! Not sell it.

This change of heart makes the wife frown, and we all know where that road goes.

She'll get it over it. You'll be hard pressed to find such a great driving car or enjoy much of antying else as much as one can enjoy the SVX. What's the beef with keeping the SVX anyway?

Do like I did. I've had mine since '92. Painted it this summer and put it up for sale.....for $10,000.

Oddly I got no serious offers.

Now that I've got that out of my system I'm enjoying it as much as I ever did, which is a lot.
