More wheel questions...
Alright. I bought two Chrysler Crossfire wheels today at a flea market. I paid $10 each

The SVX uses 12x1.25 studs, the Crossfire is 12x1.5. The holes are already larger than the studs on the SVX. By drilling them bigger again I think it would have the same effect as trying to drive on wheels on which the holes are oblong from being run with loose lug nuts. The nuts will never stay tight no matter how many times you torque them.

Right, but isn't that where the wobble nuts would come in? Hub centric rings should keep it steady as well.

I think the nuts would go on too far, past the bevel that is because of the size of the hole.

The studs are the same size!! The stud is 12. The treads are different . I would not tempt the Gods. With the problems this car has with wheel bearings. Getting a good shimmy would not help .

I'd think the hubcentric rings would keep it perfectly balanced. The only think the lug nuts do is keep the wheel on, not balance it. I think it's too much trouble for these wheels. Plus at $10 a wheel, I can make quite a bit off these and make my SVX nicer :[
