1992 Subaru SVX LS-L in Florida

State SVX is in: Florida

Year: 1992

Model: SVX LS-L

Color: Pearl White/Black 2-tone

Miles: 95,000 (give or take 1,000 miles)

Location: East Central Florida. Rockledge to be precise.

Options: Leather, CD, moonroof, not sure what else is considered optional.

AWD or FWD: AWD

Modifications: Stock.

Major service: Recently replaced Fuel pump and fuel filter.

Maintenance Records: Some records from previous owner present.

Transmission condition: Transmission shifts smooth and doesn't seem to overheat.

Glass condition: All glass intact and untinted.

Type of tire and remaining tread: Fuzion ZRi. I'd guess about 40-50% of tread. One tire has a slow leak.

Interior condition: Interior not perfect. Leather has some cracks and rips and the carpeting is dirty. Dash is in good shape.

Body condition: Body itself is nice. It needs paint in several places though. Some small dents and dings in the hood and bumpers. Pearl still looks pretty.

Known defects or problems: The resonator is making noise, and the suspension is noisy. The power window switches on the driver's side are loose, but work fine. The clock inside works sporadically, at best. It needs a paintjob and a good overall cleaning.

Comments about the car: Bought the car off eBay in April of this year, and it was my daily driver for most of that time. It had some issues (turned out to be a dead fuel pump). Pump was replaced, filter was replaced, and the lines were all re-tightened. Runs fine now.

Asking price: $3250 Or best offer. I'm also willing to trade for a car that is small, lightweight, has a decent aftermarket, and would make a decent road course car.

Well, after going back and forth on keeping it, I've decided to part ways with my SVX. Test drives are welcome and definitely encouraged. I even gladly welcome any prospective buyer having a mechanic take a look at it.

Price is negotiable.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Yeah, it's going to be kind of tough for me to sell it after everything. But I'm finally in a position to build and race a dedicated track car, and the SVX simply lacks the aftermarket to support my long-term goals. I bought it because I wanted a fun daily driver, and now that I have the Land Rover, I don't want two everyday cars filling my driveway.

The SVX is not an everyday car though :P
