Ok Colorado people, lets ***** about snow...

Man this storm sucks! Theres probably about 30 inches outside, and I am SNOWED IN FOR THE SECOND DAY IN A ROW! I am going stir crazy. My SVX did manage to plow about 10 feet backwards out of the driveway, but is now stuck at the edge of my cul-de-sac, and now is so stuck I cant go forwards or backwards! But I did verify that my AWD is working, because I can watch the back tires spin as I hit the gas .The front tires arent moving at all though, so I am stuck until the plows ome to rescue me.

Just thought Id complain alittle, and im bored out of my mind. Other colorado people need to jump in and complain alittle too!

Alright I'll pitch in!

Only problem is... I'm kind of a glass is half full kind of guy.

Hell yeah I'm snowed in for two days!

My REX and SVX are not going to be moving for awhile.

Did I mention... I can't get to work tomorrow!

Looks like my vacation starts early... twelve days off!

Only bummer is that I really wanted to go out and play with the SVX in the snow. Guess I'll go to the old Westland Target's abandoned parking lot on Saturday.

Ira

Hey Im in Chicago

Don't complain about snow cuz we get it here all the time and the worse part about it all is that nothing closes here when it snows. Schools are still open work is still working and yall closed in just relax a little and maybe make a new baby.

i haven't heard anyone use the name "westland" for ages. you now have me thinking about the 600 different fashion bar stores they had in that mall.

Yeah! Westland is definitely old school .

I'm over here near 20th and Simms so it's not too far.

Just got back home a few minutes ago. The side roads... man they suck. I'm glad I listened to my wife and drove the WRX (it has more clearance...barely). I'm thinking that maybe I parted my rock crawler out too soon. I can't tell you how many times I grounded my front air dam earlier this evening.

All I can say is that I hope you guys in regions (Canada etc.) that get hella snow have better road maintenance than we do... and we're supposed to be prepared for this kind of stuff.

The up shot however is here in Denver two weeks from now it could be 60 degrees again. In fact last year on the 31st I was fly fishing on Bear Creek. The air temperature was 59 degrees , unfortunately the water temp was a brisk 37 . I still managed to catch twenty or so (doubt that will be happening this year though).

Our snow has already been pummeled by the city.

Any pictures? 30"?

The most I have seen here is about 10" more. And, unbelievably, it's in December now and we're at about 50F in the day times. We only had one snow day with only 1-2" so far

I just checked we got 30'' for the week.

I almost got stuck the other day, btu going back and forth slowly and turning the wheel got me out without help. Blizzaks ftw.
