Subaruparts.com question
This may have been brought up before, but I'm ordering stuff from subaruparts.com and I noticed more than one option for a few different parts.
Can anyone explain what the difference between the parts is, and how to know which one I need? Thanks!!

Re: Subaruparts.com question
The parts manual, available here, explains the differences through the "remarks" code after the part description. (i.e. "29-" and "2X-" and "-28").
http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=60770 The code is a year and a month, with a dash either before or after the numbers. So "29-" is September 1992 and later. And "-28" is August 1992 and earlier. X, Y, and Z are Oct., Nov., Dec. So "2X-" is October 1992 and later. And "-29" is September 1992 and earlier. Find the date of manufacture of your car on the VIN plate mounted on the drivers door jamb. You could just go with the later parts depending on the application.
