Exhaust Gaskets
The two gaskets that connect the 2 cats to the center cat are gone or leaving the car rapidly. Subaru wants nearly $40 a piece for these. Has anyone replaced these with something Generic OR replaced the exhaust from this point back?

Go to your local exaust people. They can replace that for a little lower. 40 is not that bad though on the SVX.

All said the gaskets were dealer only... If you're looking for a nice exhaust tone. This is not the way to get it.

Some wizard muffler shop replaced mine on my moneypit once. I know that. As for the tone if you want to stick with a nice tone, keep everything stock. Including the resonator. I am not too happy with a lot of tones. I don't really like a lot of sounds that are mades by modded systems in general.
