ok... real quick. The AWD tcu can be used w/ the FWD trans because the solenoid C signals are lost without the correct wiring. The FWD Tcu cannot be used in an AWD car because there is no Solenoid C signal... Back on topic though... Got the starter in the mail today. I will install that on thursday when I get home. Then I can reassemble everything under the hood. Then I am waiting on the axles I just bought and the shift knuckle.

So wouldn't the AWD TCU cause a Duty Solenoid C error when used with a FWD tranny?

With all this talk about TCU's, I'll mention that I have an AWD 92 TCU and will probubly have a 94 FWD TCU for sale at Reading.

Ok... rear diff and axles arrived and are installed. The starter is installed. Now I need to wait until Monday until the shift linkage pieces arrive to finish up... It's looking good but will not be completed until next weekend unfortunately...

I don't have one. Dan had one that he wanted me to do some runs with when I did his conversion. My Mr Dyno still has not been used yet as it is pretty complicated... I will let Mike do all the thrashing in his car.

Yes, the US model TCU's are a completely seperate unit. They function for the transmission alone, so it's removal has no bearing on anything but the transmission.

I'd be willing to bet this is the first fwd to awd conversion in an svx.
supercharger - check
6 speed - check
4 wheel burnouts - check

this thing is going to be sick!
