Hail protection
.
For those unexpected situations at an event or a meet where hail is a possibility. Opens in 8 seconds. Looks like a solid product for occasional use. At $249.00, definitely cheaper than a windshield http://www.banggood.com/Mynew-Portab...p-1111843.html and the video. .

In stormy season (can't count on the weather people) I take along an old oversized THICK quilted bedspread that fits in the trunk, i can put it over the top, window, back window, and the tops of the side windows.
I also try to park under sturdy trees as the tress themselves knock the falling rate of hailstones to a minimum. On a high thunderstorm probability day, I would leave my SVX at home in the garage and take a crappy car to work those days.

On days it is predicted to hail I leave my BRZ in the garage and take my SVX to work! I've done it 3 times already in the past month. The SVX is a tank compared to the BRZ.
