Known defects or problems: 2. Cruise switch can be sticky. Cruise is operational. ABS light on intermittently (code 10), relays new but still sporadic light

Comments about the car: I bought this car in 5/2013, garaged. Prior to this is was owned by Don/Jean Addington & svxxx26 since May, 1996. Always garaged while he owned it and, to his knowledge, was always garaged since new.

The interior is in new condition. Carpeting is like new, always protected. Rear seat has rarely been used. The original radio/cassette was replaced with a 6-disk unit from an Outback. New front door speakers under my watch. There is no rust anywhere

All fluids have been changed regularly. The oil has been changed more often than necessary and I have used Castrol Euro Syn 10W-30 only. Likewise the front/rear diffs have Mobil 1 75W90. Paint condition is very good to excellent. There was some damage to the front fender and it was replaced and the hood wand upper half of the passenger door repainted by previous owner. The paint matches as perfectly as is possible. A few small dents were removed after Don bought it.



Svxfiles installed the 4:44 transmission after the original started having issues in March 2007. It had just over 60,000 on the odometer then. He also did the "$15.00/15-minute mod" and installed a modified dropping resistor (firmer shifts). Adjusted mileage due to gear ration difference is about 88,500.
Don had a rebuilt power steering pump installed in November 2010. Tie rod ends replaced May 2011.

I would say that this is probably one of the better 1992 SVXs you will find anywhere. I know I have done as much as I could to keep it in like new condition.

Asking price: $4,900.00, same price Don/Jean paid and same price I paid for it. Under my care, I had the car orbital polisher detailed, Aquapel'd glass, AFPR added and B&M transmission cooler with fuel hose clamps/oem hoses. New front/rear rotors and pads. New ft/rr poly swaybar bushings. Upgraded horns with relay. New ft. speakers as mentioned above. All removed pieces included.

Reason for selling: bone pain from medical condition makes getting in/out and driving a "spasm fest".

Picture is from when Jerry owned it..still as nice but OEM grill now. Interior has been Lexol'd and shows beautifully. Drives rattle, clunk free, no resonator rattles. Alignment set at -1.2 degrees ft camber with no tire edge wear. Will be glad to email pictures as requested( give me your email address). Car remains very presentable..Guy in Ingles Supermarket asked me if it was a "New Subaru".

We ought to keep this car in the SVXWN family. I have seen this car many times and followed it through the years since the beginning. This one gets better with age and needs nothing. Not a penny was spared in maintenance and received whatever was needed.

Thanks for the comments. Forgot to mention I replaced the front struts with New OEM's this past June along with both O2 sensors.. Also, she is wearing an aluminum SVX logo oil cap, a gift from Don and Jean. Picture here shows the Mazdaspeed 3 18" rims I had on her before switching back to the Rota's.

No, that was Jerry's grill I believe and was already replaced with the usual grill when I bought the car.

The front edge of the hood and spoiler have nicks and "sand sparkle" to a mild degree. Remainder of car's paint is near perfect. Interior is extremely clean and intact.
