2 swaps... 3 cars..
Here is a quick opening run down to the three projects that crazyswede and I are going to be undertaking here. I found an ebony for sale in CT and we picked it up on tuesday night. The breakdown of what is happening
Ebony- Everything from my silver car is going into it, suspension, motor, 6spd etc etc. The current 4eat is shot and the motor is going into a Impreza track car. Impreza L- currently has a built EJ25 but is going to be getting the stock EG33 from the ebony. This car is getting seam welded and caged and will be a designated track car. My old silver car- not saying yet what the plans are for this...  I am doing most of the mechanical work and Dave (crazyswede) is handling most of the bodywork. Some pics to start things off with....

Also, I didnt think I would ever say this but the painted interior looks great. It was done in AMG silver ( a mercedes color ) and has been clear coated, wet sanded, and buffed. I do not have labels on the buttons anymore, but I have owned enough of these by now to have it memorized... lol

Spent the day in the garage today (instead of Reading
 ).. Got the EG33 and tranny pulled from the ebony, swapped the front suspension from the silver car to the ebony, pulled everything off the car to get it prepped for the body work. Pics of the projects...Stripped it to get ready for prep..  Getting ready to pull the motor....  Motor in my silver SVX waiting to go in the ebony....  Brakes and suspension is getting swapped from the silver car as well...  It's out...  End of the night...

Tonight I did the tie-rods on Dave's car while he seam-welded away on my car.. pics of the progress.....
  I thought this next one was cool....    The finished strut tower in the front with a base coat on to cover the welds and bare metal....

engine bay is done being "powdercoated"... I swapped my coilovers to the ebony today, got the rest of the exhaust and rear diff out, and started reinstalling things in the engine bay.. No pics for now but there will be a lot coming this week....
