octane booster
Now that I have a bottle right in front of me, We can resume this old argument on octane booster:
http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...octane+booster I just bought a bottle of race formula NOS octane boost and it very plainly says that it will raise the octane by 6 numbers, or 60 points. The same holds true for the NX chemical X race formula which claims an increase of 10-20% in the octane number(which would also be roughly 6 octane numbers, Not points). Both are carried at Summit racing, So you can all check it out for yourselves if you don't believe me. My camera sucks or I'd take a pic of the bottle where it says real big "increase octane effect up to 6 octane numbers or 60 points". Just wanted to vent that since in the old argument I was told to read the fine print and I did today on about 4 different brands all ranging from a boost of 6-60 points. |

So if I remember correctly that means your 92 octane gas will be up to 92.6 octane. Right?

Personally run 1.5 pints of xylene/ toluene mixture at a 50/50 ratio. That on top of 93 is better than any octane booster that I have ever bought. I can sometimes get 94 octane in Boston and this mixture with the 94 is great.
