TQ and A
Quick question:
Is the tourque converter from the awd 4eat the same as the one from the fwd tranny? The tourque converter in my fwd tranny is apperently out of an imprezza, and I have a spare 4eat I can take the correct tc from while I have everything apart still Thanks, -Eric

I can't answer your AWD/FWD question.
But I do know that an Impreza TC won't bolt up to a SVX flexplate. If you have an Imp TC in your car now you also have an Imp flexplate in there, you'll have to come up with a SVX Flexplate to use a SVX TC.

Yeah, I noticed that earlier and went "Hmmm.."
good thing about it is I dont have to try wrenching off them flexplate bolts off my old engine. Im going out on a limb and saying they are the same. At the very least, the svx tc was heavier than the imprezza one, so the shifts will be smoother either way (fingers crossed)
