Does the belt lie and check egine light have anything in common?
At the races on sunday I had a check engine flash a couple of times during my first trip around... The only thing that was different than any other day of the week and even after that run is that I had the Pass. side belt buckled (the top automatic portion). I didn't pull codes yet but I'll do a search for that in a bit.

They are not related. The seatbelts show their codes through the seatbelt light.
