You might try reducing your price by about $1000 or more if you want any interest from this crowd. There are running, driving '92s with no body damage out there for $2000...

If it is in good working order, and does not have much damage, it would be worth $2,000.

Gosh , give the guy a break. Would you sell your car (SVX) to me for 1000.00? He said it was negotiable. You can hardly even get a good any kind of car for under 2000.

hold on a second before bombarding they guy with accusations his price is too high before getting any remote idea of the actual condition of the car.

By the "power everything" I can only guess it's an LS-L

to the seller: Some vital information needed here...
-Mileage
-Color
-Does it have a sunroof, leather seats, and leather wrapped wheel? (That'd make it an LS-L rather than an LS)
-What is the naure of the front end damage? When hearing that, some people assume its completely destroyed, others will think mabey it has a dent in the bumper
-Do you have any recent service records?
-Pictures available upon request?
-Where is the car located?(City / state)

If the front end damage isnt too bad, it has under 150k miles,and is in decent shape otherwise, its probly worth the 2 grand your asking for

I would expect to pay $1,000 for a parts car, but not a running SVX.

Well let's see, I paid $500 for one parts car and $600 for another. One had a bad motor and everything else was great. In fact, I swapped the motor and radiator out of the other car and my nephew painted it and it is now my daughter's daily driver. So, I got a beautiful daily driver AND still have a parts car with a good tranny for $1100 plus paint total. The interior of the $500 car was beautiful and showed very little wear. The car had less than 100K miles.

One was a Colorado car and the other a Utah car and do not have the rust or rusty bolt problems of the North and NE cars.

So, I would agree that more information and pictures are needed to evaluate the damage and true worth of the car.

OK, Ok, I guess I have paid less than $1,000 for a cople of mine that were running, but needed some work. The point I was trying to make is that if it is running and in ...... you get the message.

I agree but how you gonna pop right on here and tell the man he needs to drop his price a thousand dollars if he wants someone "here" to look at it? We all run across "good deals" maybe someone doesnt know the value of what they have or whatever. But we all know a running SVX is worth more then 1000.00...if not, who has one I can buy for my kid!? I got a grand laying around for a SVX!

Agree, but the whole key is just how much "front end damage" there is. As we all say----pictures would be great.
