Now with more STi
I spent the past weekend working on the SVX. This is what my GF, my dad and I accomplished:
- installed modified STi engine mounts (replaced 1 broken & one ok OEM mount) - installed STi transmission mount (replaced modified stock WRX weakling) - changed all valve cover gaskets (including grommits) with engine still in car Verdict: Still a couple oil drops from when the covers were off but that will go away soon enough. The car is actually SMOOTHER now ![]() I'd also strongly suggest everyone (MT/4EAT) take a look at their left engine mount as it's probably ripped/broken by now if it's never been replaced.
