half swapped impreza with svx

ok well i hope you read all the post, i am try not to repeat most of it. it needs exhaust finished, i have it mostly done ( i used the stock eg33 manifolds), a radiator needs to be fit in it (got a cxracing it was too big, so i picked one out never got the money or time to buy it - i have two cross bars that could be used for the lower radiator support ), and i tried to fire up the engine once - didnt go. but the battery is not the best (i am going to try a battery jump soon), and the fuel been in there a while so i think cleaning or sea foam will help.

now the biggest problem is the wiring, y? because the guy that sold me the engine sold it to me as a 96 eg33 and harness. it was actually a 94 engine and harness. so i did my best to re-pin the entire ecu to a 96 eg33 and 98rs. i have not looked into y it not firing.

history on the car. i bought it in 2002-03 used. the clutch was replace oem (i upgraded already act). i ended up loosing a valve due to oil burning in the 4cyl. that is what prompted me to put the eg33 in. the stock 5 spd has been great, it is old and i personally think it needs either rebuild or upgrade for this engine.
This car won't pass emissions older engine in new car, and if you can get the obdII to work. i have 3 cats to go on. and i have been working on the evap system - didn't get far.
i dont have much on the eg33 history. i did an oil change (what good it has done me) i replaced plugs (OEM) and valve cover gaskets (leaking already). the engine was pulled from a wrecked car in NJ. that about it. never fired it, but it spins with a wrench. i do have the title in hand. any other question let me know. if you want to stop by check it out let me know via email first the we set up a time.
