Bummed :(

Well, just an update on getting the SVX back up and running.

For those that didn't know, about 6 months ago, my alternator went bad because it got all gunked up from oil. The dipstick seals didn't sit right when we installed the new engine and it was leaking out right onto the alternator (now that the alternator is at the bottom of the engine for the supercharger).

Anyway, Nate came back down and replaced the dipstick seals but in the process of doing so he found that my lower cams are messed up. Somehow the notch in the cam where the gear attaches got bent and widened on both the lower cams. As such, the timing was off by a tooth which might account for the terrible loss of power i was experiencing on the highway.

I was really hoping to get the SVX back up and running this last weekend so that I could get with ECU Masters and get it tuned up, but that will have to wait.

Nate was a big help though and will hopefully be back soon with some new cams so we can try and put everything back together. Once I do, i'll let you all know how its running.
