Do 97 trannys go as well?
Has anyone had tranny trouble with their 96/97? I know they're better but just curious if we shouldd be as concerned with our 97 as our 92.

they have all the updates (no 'clog screen', different clutch material, etc.), but that didn't stop me from throwing in a big cooler, external filter, and a temp gauge.
they still get hot, but with my cooler, and pulling off the belly pan in the summer, i rarely go over 200 degrees - if i do its very briefly. it usually hovers around 170-185. a temp gauge really helps you to understand what makes it get hot (hills and hot weather!)
