Front washer pump?
Hey there!
I need to winterize my car (a bit late, I know). I'm going to get some brighter headlamp bulbs (Silverstars), re-aim the headlamps (seem to be low), new wiper blades... And my from windshield washer doesn't work. It has fluid, but doesn't even make any noise. I'm going to check for a fuse first, but I suspect I'll be needing a new pump. Are these on the reservoir on these, or where are they located, and does anyone have a good source for these? Thanks!

The Washer pump is located on the base of the solution tank...

Thats the one for the windshield
The one for the headlight is located in the righthandside front fender and is a high pressure pump (differs from ordinairy windshieldpump) ie more expensive It withdraws water from the same tank, with a separate hose Rinus |

Yeah, the OP has a USDM car, so no headlight washers. But, thanks for the info!

Post up your results for the relay and what you're getting at the connector. I think I have a couple in the basement that are yours for shipping. Can't remember if their fused to the resevoir or not. Seem like I saved the whole thing as I couldn't remember how to remove 'em.

If you're hooked on SilverStars, get them from Osram and not Sylvania. The Sylvania ones are notorious for blowing out - I had two go out in six months in my old Outback Sport. They seemed to do more for aesthetics than actual output, anyway.
I had great luck with PIAA, however.
