Help! I just got my car back and the gauges dont light up.
Can anyone help me find out whats wrong. I just got my car back from the tranny shop. After, I realized while driving at night that my gauges dont light up anymore and neither does the PRND321 on the shifter console. Any advice?

chances are that it is just a fuse, check all the fuses under the kick panel and under the hood, that happened to me, and i also had no tail lights so check to see if those are on when you have your headlights on, my money is on a fuse though.

Its probably the dimmer!
That happened to me before, and I went nuts checking all the fuses. It turns out it was just the dimmer that wasnt all the way up. Check the dimmer, its located in the same arm(whatever you wanted to call it) where you make the trun signals. Make sure its up to the last dot. Let me know what happens

I dont know the problem.
Thanks everyone but its not the dimmer or the fuses I have absoultly no idea what it is I think may be the tranny people might have cut a wire or a wire broke or came loose or somthing. Could it be a relay?. Does anyone know where the gauge illumination wires could be? Can someone tell me how to take the gauges out and check them.
Again Thanks For the help. --Miles |

its a lot of work to take out the gauges, well not a lot but do you rally think its worth it. If you said that the lights on the shifter didnt light up either then I dont think its a problem with the guages but a bad connection, bring it back to the tranny shop tell and tell them what happened. Keep me posted
