pair of lightweight WRX seats on eBay, currently $103, reserve met. might be good for anyone trying to "lighten the load" for a quicker SVX.

How much weight could you really lose by swapping seats??

Im not even sure how much one of our seats weigh...

our seats weigh ALOT. you'd be surprised. there are a few motors in there, wiring, and the leather itself. you'd save a decent amount of weight with manually adjustable cloth seats. anyone have a figure for the weight of the stock seats?

I've taken out my seats a few times when I did the wireing for my stero up grade... I guess after moving them a round more times than I wanted to ,,, about forty pounds each at least the drive side... the pasenger side is a bit less,....

When i upgraded from cloth to leater i noticed the leather drivers seat weighed at least twice as much. It was incredible.

auction ended at $179. jeez that was a good deal for a PAIR of seats in great condition! couldn't have been more than a year old, too.
