stock radio lights
next job ......on my list is to see if I can get the radio lights fixed.
CD player is all fine. Radio - the display lights up when on, but thats all. Before I take it out - are there individual bulbs for the station buttons and stuff and easy fix? Not a big issue, but as it's such a dark area there, at night I literally cannot see anything cheers bruce

As old as these radios are, that is a very common problem. It can be done, but I don't know how. Someone who knows electronics should be able to do it. Good luck.

Before you go to alot of trouble be mindful that it may not be the bulbs. My teal's radio has lights some days, no lights on others. I can tap the face of the display and the lights come on... or vice-versa. Obviously a sketchy internal connection. My old Legacy's radio did the same. Probably would take a knowledgeable tech to troubleshoot and correct.

Mine's the same way, the display will light up but nothing else, sometimes flicking the display will make it come back, sometimes it won't. I'm not too worried about it since I know where the buttons are, but when I put my CD player in it, I will take the stock unit apart and see if there is any way I can replace or repair the lights.
