Power mode mod questions
So I finally got around to doing the power mode mod, and though I like the overall result, I have a few questions.
When I'm driving conservatively around town I've noticed a definite improvement in shifting and overall transmission response, as most people have described in the past. However, when I get on the throttle and push the car I get a lot more slipping in my shifts. I did not have this problem in the least bit before I did the mod, in fact my shifts were pretty much flawless since I changed my TPS. Now, when I gun the throttle the engine will usually hit about 6k and then start to shift, but there is a 1-2 second period where it disengages from 1st gear and kind of slips down before 2nd engages, at which point the car kind of lurches forward. Again, this was NOT happening before I did the mod. Any ideas?
