So after the premier of The Dark Knight...
We come out of the theatre to a crowd of about 9-15 people gathered around my SVX just gocking(sp?lol) at it.
It was awesome. Now, I've had a couple people at a time just staring wondering what it was and what it could do, and a couple people just randomly offer me cash off the street but never so many at one time... all with questions and being chaotic.. then more people approached. It took a good 20 minutes to finally leave and by then it was already nearing 4am. Ahhhh these cars.... ya got to love them. |

Gawking.
What a strange story. I can't imagine people doing that around here.

Re: So after the premier of The Dark Knight...
Well, I live in a super small town. It's a tourist trap as the actual population is well under 800 people. All trees and waterfalls and that kind of junk. A little on the hick side as well.
I just find it funny because I've had 1 of my SVXs for 5 years and the other 2 for a while now and it was just the neatest thing cuz it hasn't happened like this. Oh and thanks for helping my spelling lol. Feel like an idiot now. |

Re: So after the premier of The Dark Knight...
I've noticed folks giving mine the eye, once watched a guy go out of his way to walk across a Wendy's parking lot to get a closer look, and had a woman motion for me to roll-down my window @70 mph+ on the Interstate. Nobody's ever offered to buy 'em, though.

Re: So after the premier of The Dark Knight...
Very nice. I've gotten a couple close looks at mine, but never drew a croud.

Re: So after the premier of The Dark Knight...
I got something for all of you....
got pulled over once, and while I was being handed my ticket, the officer was asking me a little about the car. I also have a friend who lives near one of our local police stations, and a few times officers have come over to it(I was sure it was my stereo was too loud) and asked me about it. I think more cops in my area have asked me about my car than anyone. They are crowd drawers.
