1994 SVX L , 196k miles
**SOLD** as of 7/3/2010
This is probably more of a parts car, theres lots of stuff wrong with it : Location of the SVX: Austin, Texas. Year: 1994 Model: L VIN: JF1CX3230RK101015 Manufacture date: Unsure Paint Color: Barcelona Red (lots of fading though) Interior Color:Grey Miles: 196300miles (i bought it at 38000, as far as i know its the original engine and tranny) Location: Same as above Options: Power windows, Power locks, Automatic SeatBelt, Automatic climate control AWD or FWD: FWD Modifications: All stock Major service: Water pump and timing belt replaced about 10k miles ago Engine Condition: Runs good, still gave me 25mpg (20%city 80% highway). Maintenance Records: Most included except for oil changes i did myself, Has alternator with lifetime warranty, have the reciept somewhere. Transmission condition: strange ticking/clunking noises, subaru master mech says noises from inside tranny, time to fix/change. Glass condition: Front windshield has large crack in it Type of tire and remaining tread: Not sure about 60% tread left. Type of wheels: Stock Interior condition: drivers seats worn in one spot. drivers door panel starting to detach due screws stripping brittle plastic. panel below steering while is gone, got so brittle it was hanging by the wires going to the switches attached to panel Body condition: Front left fender dented (thanks to wife), right bottom rocker panel scratched. spoiler faded and chipped. Roof completely faded. Known defects or problems: Tranny probably needs fixing or replacement. A/C does not work, throws code for temperature sensor Driviers side CV joint occasionally ticks when making left turns. CD player works off and on Check engine light on (EGR codes), passes emissions though. Engine goes through 1qt about evern 3000miles, either leaks or burns. no blue smoke in exhaust and no oil drip marks, so not sure. Comments about the car: Car has been great since i got it 13yrs ago, tranny problems started two months back.Car still drives and seems like tranny shifts through gears, its just the noise, gets quite loud. read somwhere that it might be a stripped gear). It seems too nice to be a part car.
Maybe the noise is from front differential... For almost 200K, those problems are minor imo.

Earl, i'll try and get you the info.
Yeah, i agree, doesn't seem like major problems, but don't have the time and money to sink into it (new baby and all that comes with her ) . I would like to see somebody keep her on the road instead of turning her into a parts car.
