This is a real cruiser, very dependable, very good in snow or to go skiing. No accidents, clean CarFax. We had this car for 8 years (bought it with 82K miles) and we took very good care. There is some wear out but much less then you would expect for this age. No rust. It was painted about 3 years ago; there are some chips and imperfections but overall it shines.. A lot of parts were changed part of regular maintenance : timing belt, water pump, belt tensioner, Amsoil transmission oil, engine oil and filter changed with Castrol or Mobil1 every 3K. Other things: replaced sun visors -so they do not fall down, added a transmission cooler, aluminum crankshaft pulley, K&N air filter. The car runs strong, no hesitation whatsoever. The breaks work as they supposed to. We used it mostly to drive to DIA and back. We have new cars, this one has to go to new home. The goods: - Almost new (80-90% thread) All Season Continental tires - New Battery - New Zinc plated, crossed& Drilled Brake disks - New brake pads front and rear - Brake fluid flushed - New front CV axles The not so good: - Engine bay is clean but the engine leaks at cover gaskets. We have the entire set of cover gaskets from Subaru; they are included in the sale price; it needs some “elbow grease”. - The trunk shocks are not good so you have to keep the trunk to open or to close Last edited by Ovidiu STAN; 08-05-2010 at 11:11 PM. |
