ok heres the info.
I have a green 1995 subaru svx lsi, AWD (vin#)-JF1CX3553SH101218 it has no rust and is in very good condition,I bought this car at the beginning of this summer and so far here is what I have done to it. I have had the transmission rebuilt in July ($1400), new factory front struts ($400), new front pads and rotors, new front right axle ($175), new front speed sensor($193), new radiator($180), new rear brake lines, new front right ball joint. new high performance all seasons tires lots of tread left, new inspection sticker. the only thing this car needs is the rear differential needs to be replaced with the one that I have to make it all wheel drive again, currently its running in front wheel drive, When the tyranny was rebuilt I had it upgraded to a 3.90 gear ratio, the differential I bought is a 3.90 ration from a legacy. so once it is installed you just remove the FWD fuse and its back to AWD. my mechanic estimated it to be about 500$ worth of labor and I just don't want to put anymore money into. So I will sell the car for $4000 with the differential included. I may consider a partial trade for a different Subaru, really interested in 2000 and up impreza' or legacy rs but would like at least 2000 cash, so the cars value should be at least 2000 give or take. call text or e-mail, will send more pics just ask. test drives welcome Thanks Joe ("update") - right rear wheel bearing starting to go, and right front caliper should be replaced, it works fine but rattles. and it idles a little off when you first start it up, Iv cleaned the throttle body, the MAF, new air filter,checked all vacum lines, but that did not fix it, it think it may need plugs call, text.e-mail for pics and more info Joe 207-420-1471 will upload pics tomorrow Last edited by Dune; 10-03-2011 at 01:41 PM.
