As a member from a long way away I was privileged to be a principal organiser with Paul last year for the inaugural So Cal meet!

What I meant was those members who do turn up, and others like yourself who would like to but are unable to this time, you guys are the principal people who could take this ball and run with it.

You can keep the momentum going, use the event to find and agree a central location and a good timeslot [September?] for setting up the West Coast equivalent of Reading.
