Subaru powered ATV

Back in the early 80's I worked for a company here in CO that built 6 wheel ATV's
They were called Hustlers. Steel inner frame, polyethelene body.
We had a customer that was a paraplegic, that asked for a "street legal ATV".
It would be his transpo in Canon City, CO
We spec'd it w/a 1800 Subaru and had a turbo installed by a company in Denver.
It was hydrostatic drive(fluid/hydraulic).
We made it totally street legal(lights, lic plate, seat belts...), etc.
Top speed was 52 mph - about double the normal 18hp Kohler/chain drive units
VERY fun!!
Never would have dreamt 20 years later, I would be the proud owner of an SVX!!!
A little imagination is our only limit!
