You will either have to find a 4.44 rear diff or swap your front diff onto this tranny. This works with the Turbo Legacys and I do not see why it would not work for the SVX, but being I kown nothing at all (almost) about the SVX, the front diff swap should be looked into further before depending on this as an alternitive. I will be out of town for two weeks starting this Friday, I am not sure if I will be able to get on line during that period. I hope to experiment with these trannys when I return, if this is a good fix for the SVX trannys we are golden. I can have more brought over from Japan.
