I had my windshield replaced last year in March through June...I got the glass company looking for one in March and finally got it in the car in June. Total price was a hair over $1600 bucks with the windshield having to come from a dealer half-a-state away...and to think my insurance agent thought I was nuts for keeping glass insurance on such an old car.

I suspect the dealer bent the glass company over who in turn bent my insurance over hence the high price.
