Did they remove the bulb holders? I thought most LED conversions where done with plugin replacement LED bulbs. Can't you just change the bulbs back?
I've purchased rear bulb holder assemblies from Subaru in the last two years. Depending on which assembly pricing was ~$6 to ~$15 and it just took a few minutes to swap.
