I have a few miles on it, and so far so good. The 2/4 band took a bit to break in, but it's a definite improvement. The high clutch is much firmer as well. All the other gears work as expected.
I also installed a new transfer clutch from Subaru (seems it had Kolene steels too, by the looks) and it's a bit grabby. We'll see how it is when it gets more breaking in.
Anyone have opinions on fluid? I am using Valvoline Maxlife DEX/MERC ATF. It's pretty cheap for a synthetic, and the specs are pretty good.
