In my '92 the headlight levels are adjustable. One of the screws at the end of the glass tube holds the level carrier against a spring. So adjust your lights where you like them or where the check with tape measure process says they should be, then park the car on a LEVEL floor and adjust the bubble to read level. Next time you mess with the lights, just park it on the level floor and adjust the light aiming screws to center the bubble and you'll be where they were before.

A drop of paint on the bubble adjust screw helps keep things from changing.
